A Culinary Journey with Martin Yan

Presenting a true Chinese Cuisine, Dynasty Restaurant proudly brings “A Culinary Journey with Martin Yan” from the 31st of March to 14th of April. The event was launched yesterday, Saturday, 30th March 2019 at Dynasty Restaurant, The Centrepoint Hotel, Gadong.

The launching ceremony began with welcoming remarks from the General Manager of Royal Brunei Catering, Haji Jeff Hadiman bin Dato Paduka Haji Danial, following the launch by the guest of honour, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof, Minister of Foreign Affairs II and special guests, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Hj Mohd Amin Liew Bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II, Dr. Haji Abdul Manaf Bin Haji Metussin, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy & the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Royal Brunei Catering,  Her Excellency Ms. Yu Hong, The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of The People’s Republic of China and Chef Martin Yan.

Also present during the launching were the Board of Directors of Royal Brunei Catering, event sponsors; Baiduri Bank and Dart Logistics, and invited guests. As a token of appreciation from Royal Brunei Catering, Dr. Haji Abdul Manaf Bin Haji Metussin presented a souvenir to the guest of honour.

In his welcoming remarks, Haji Jeff Hadiman explained that Chinese cuisine has certainly gone through a huge makeover in recent years as the country’s gastronomic scene continues to innovate and grow.

From the 31st of March until 14th of April, Dynasty Restaurant opens its door to the public to indulge in authentic Halal Chinese Cuisine certified by Chef Martin Yan. Dynasty restaurant will offer diners with a sensational lunch and dinner experience from a special menu, created just for the Culinary Journey of Martin Yan. The Set Courses is priced from only $33 per person to $48 per person.
